Guest Host: Billy Campbell
Best known for his television roles as Rick Sammler on Once and Again, as Det. Joey Indelli on Crime Story, as Jordan Collier on The 4400, and as Dr. Jon Fielding on the Tales of the City miniseries. He is also known for his recurring role as Luke Fuller in Dynasty which was his first prominent role. His most notable films include Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Enough. He portrayed Darren Richmond on the AMC television series The Killing, and played Dr. Alan Farragut in the SyFy series Helix.
And he was the title character in a little film called The Rocketeer.
Summary
Neville just asked Jenny to stay on the picture after he had Director Victor fire her.
“But it’s — it’s really my fault, Mister Sinclair,” says Jenny.
“Have you read for the part of the Saxon Princess?” asks Neville.
Jenny smiles and shakes her head, “No,” she says.
“I think you might be rather wonderful in the role,” says Neville. “I’ll see that you do. Perhaps we could discuss it over dinner? I’ve got a regular table at the South Seas Club, if you’re not too bored with the South Seas Club?”
“I would love to, Mister -” says Jenny, her tears now gone.
“Neville,” corrects Sinclair.
“Neville,” repeats Jenny, smiling.
“Tonight, then,” says Neville. Jenny smiles and nods. Neville walks back to the set.
The assistant director yells, “Hey, ladies in waiting – – we’re waiting! Let’s go!” Jenny’s roommate Irma walks over to Jenny. The two smile at each other, and run to take their places on the set.
Meanwhile at Chaplin Field, the morning air race is already underway. A biplane and two monoplanes fly in close formation on the raceway.
“Ladies and gentlemen,” says the announcer, “Bud Russell in the Travelair Meyster Ship has taken over the lead from Fuller! We have clocked him at 192 miles per hour.”
Malcolm is selling souvenirs in fron of the packed stands. “Programs! Five cents!” he yells to the audience. Patsy runs up beside him.
“Malcolm!” says Patsy, “I sold seven!” She hands the change over to Malcolm.
