And he was the title character in a little film called The Rocketeer.

Jenny is inside the secret alcove of the secret room where she had previously spotted Neville Sinclair. She turns on the radio and attempts to call for help. “Hello?” she says into the microphone. “Can anyone hear me? This is an emergency! Can you hear me?”

“Sinclair?” says a voice on the radio. “Sind sie das? Warum rufen sie an?” (“Who’s that? Why are they calling?” in German)

“My God,” says Jenny, looking at a Nazi code book. “Neville Sinclair is a –”

The bookcase doorway opens behind her. She gasps. Neville, holding a wet towel on his head where Jenny struck him, enters. Lothar stands behind him.

“A what?” says Sinclair. “Spy? Saboteur? Fascist? All of the above. Lothar…” Lothar steps in front of Sinclair. Jenny backs away from Lothar, until she’s trapped against a bookcase. Lothar laughs, menacingly, his shadow darkening Jenny’s face. As the entire scene goes dark, Jenny screams.

Meanwhile, at the Bulldog Cafe, The Rocketeer sneaks to the back of the dog-shaped structure. Cliff removes his helmet and hides it inside a trash can at the back of the building. He unstraps his rocket pack.
